REIT preferred stocks have the potential to provide investors with relatively high current income and are a strong alternative to investing in traditional fixed-income securities. REIT preferred stocks currently offer investors more than 7.0% yield, are secured by tangible assets, provide the potential for price appreciation, and offer certain tax advantages, regarding dividends.
