Jennifer Verina, IACCP^®

Jennifer Verina brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Altegris, where her responsibilities include finance, accounting and regulatory compliance. Jennifer joined Altegris in 2017 initially as the Director of Advisor Compliance then later joining the Operations team.

Jennifer previously served as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Potomac River Capital, LLC, a global macro hedge fund in Washington, DC. Prior to that, Jennifer’s roles included Assistant Controller at Kensico Capital Management Corp. in Greenwich, Connecticut and Vice President of Finance at Pequot Capital Management, Inc. in Wilton, Connecticut. She began her career in financial services in Cash and Trade Services at Citibank, N.A. in Stamford, Connecticut.

Jennifer holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP^®) designation as well as holds her Series 3, 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.

Jennifer is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Business where she obtained a Master of Science in Professional Accounting. Jennifer also obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island.
