Antolin Garza

Head of Research and Investment Solutions

Antolin Garza is Head of Research and Investment Solutions and a member of the Investment Committee of Altegris, a pioneer in providing access to alternative sources of income and growth.

Prior to joining Altegris, Antolin served as Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Artivest. As a member of the Artivest Investment Committee and alternatives research team, he was responsible for portfolio management, manager sourcing, research, and due diligence across a wide variety of alternative investment strategies. Prior to Artivest, and since December 2012, Antolin has previously served as Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst, and Associate Vice President for Altegris Advisors. Prior to joining Altegris, Antolin most recently served as Research Analyst at New England Pension Consultants (NEPC) from September 2008 to November 2012. As a member of the NEPC hedge fund research team, he was responsible for performing due diligence on credit-oriented and fund of hedge fund managers, writing commentary on manager strategies, and preparing investment analysis and recommendations for the Firm's Investment Committee. In addition to research responsibilities, Antolin assisted in the reporting and constructing of hedge fund portfolios for implementation by institutional clients in various roles throughout his tenure at the Firm. Prior to NEPC, he was employed by State Street Corporation as a Bank Loan Specialist in the Senior Loan Services Group.

Antolin received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
